Why You’ll Actually Care
Help turn a North American strategy into a plan leaders can act on.
District Partners is exclusively working with an established professional organization to identify a Project Manager who can connect strategic thinking with disciplined execution. Working closely with Corporate Strategy, you’ll bring structure to a complex initiative, connect workstreams across the organization, and shape the presentations that help senior leaders make decisions.
The appeal is the combination: substantive strategy work, exposure to senior stakeholders, and ownership of both the project plan and the story it tells. Your ability to organize the work and communicate what matters will be central to this engagement.
The Basics
This is a 6–9 month contract for someone who combines project management discipline with the communication skills of a strategy consultant.
You can take an ambiguous objective and build a practical workplan around it. You know how to keep stakeholders aligned, surface issues early, and move competing priorities forward. And you’re exceptional in PowerPoint, turning complex inputs into a clear narrative and polished executive presentation.
What You’ll Be Owning
Structure the strategy work: Translate priorities into connected workplans with clear milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Keep execution moving: Coordinate business owners, enabling functions, and strategy colleagues across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Build the executive story: Develop presentation narratives, slide architecture, and visual design that make complex information clear and useful.
Drive productive discussions: Facilitate working sessions, check-ins, and steering updates with clear decisions and next steps.
Anticipate obstacles: Track dependencies, risks, and open decisions, flagging issues and proposing practical solutions.
Connect the inputs: Synthesize stakeholder perspectives into concise materials that support decision-making.
Create continuity: Maintain project documentation and a consistent cadence so work is easy to follow and hand off.

Experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, or a comparable environment.
Proven success managing complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Advanced PowerPoint skills, including storyline development, slide structure, and visual communication for executive audiences.
The confidence and judgment to engage colleagues from analysts through senior leadership.
Strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to distill complex information.
An independent working style and comfort moving work forward through ambiguity.
What Would Set You Apart
Experience with regional, market, or growth strategy; exposure to financial services, asset management, or professional education; and success working across matrixed teams. A project management qualification is preferred.
