District Partners has partnered with an established aviation company specializing in aircraft engines and components that seeks an experienced Warehouse Associate to support and optimize its warehouse operations.
This pivotal role involves managing inventory across multiple locations, maintaining compliance with aviation standards, and preparing for a significant facility relocation near Tampa International Airport.
What You'll Be Owning:
Warehouse Operations Support:
Assist with the receiving, storage, and shipping of aviation components, ensuring accurate tracking and organization
Work within serialized inventory systems to maintain proper organization and traceability of part
Support the physical organization of the warehouse to ensure efficiency in sales, restocking, and compliance with aviation standards
Inventory Oversight:
Assist in tracking and managing inventory across locations, including domestic and international facilities (e.g., Phoenix and Thailand)
Verify serial numbers and compliance documentation, including FAA certification 8130, to maintain regulatory standards
Operational Support:
Support shipment coordination from teardown facilities, ensuring accurate documentation and preparation for resale
Assist with warehouse operations related to the upcoming facility relocation near Tampa International Airport
Work closely with the team to maintain workflow efficiency and meet operational demands
What You'll Bring to the Table:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role, ideally within aviation or a highly regulated industry
Exposure to aviation components, teardown processes, or compliance standards is a plus
Familiarity with inventory systems and maintaining accurate records
Ability to support inbound and outbound shipments, including documentation and coordination
Basic understanding of compliance standards, preferably within aviation environments
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a methodical approach to inventory and operations management
Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and ability to support a collaborative team
Challenges:
Supporting increasing inventory inflows, including large teardown shipments of 250–300 parts per engine
Maintaining accuracy across inventory stored in multiple locations
Assisting with operational readiness and transition during the upcoming warehouse relocation
