District Partners has been retained by a rapidly growing, investor-backed healthcare SaaS company that's helping transform how healthcare organizations succeed in an increasingly value-based world. Having built an enterprise platform trusted by provider organizations to unify clinical, financial, and operational data, the company is entering its next phase of growth with continued investment in product innovation, AI, customer success, and market expansion. Their technology helps healthcare organizations improve quality outcomes, strengthen care coordination, reduce unnecessary costs, and make better decisions across the entire patient journey.
This is not a traditional population health leadership role. Rather than improving outcomes within a single health system, you'll help shape the technology that enables provider organizations nationwide to deliver better care, improve quality performance, and succeed under increasingly complex value-based reimbursement models. Opportunities like this rarely become available. It offers the chance to step away from day-to-day healthcare operations and influence the products that thousands of clinicians, care managers, and healthcare leaders rely on every day.
This is a highly visible, strategic individual contributor role that partners closely with executive leadership, product, engineering, customer success, and implementation. You'll serve as the bridge between healthcare operations and technology, ensuring real-world clinical and operational expertise is reflected throughout the product lifecycle. Rather than managing a care management team or owning operational metrics for a single organization, you'll help shape solutions used by healthcare organizations across the country.
What You'll Be Owning:
Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on population health, value-based care, and healthcare operations
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate clinical and operational workflows into scalable software capabilities
Influence product strategy by ensuring customer challenges and industry best practices are reflected in future platform enhancements
Advise executive leadership on reimbursement models, quality initiatives, regulatory changes, and emerging healthcare trends
Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success teams to help clients maximize adoption and long-term success
Participate in executive customer meetings, strategic planning sessions, and product roadmap discussions
Educate internal teams on population health, quality programs, reimbursement models, and industry best practices
The Environment:
This role sits at the intersection of healthcare strategy, technology, and innovation. You'll work alongside experienced healthcare leaders, product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams who are passionate about improving healthcare delivery through technology. Success requires someone who can comfortably engage healthcare executives, clinicians, operational leaders, and technical teams while influencing decisions across the organization. If you're energized by solving complex healthcare challenges and want your expertise to shape products used across the industry, you'll thrive here.
What You Bring To The Table:
8+ years of experience in population health, value-based care, clinical operations, healthcare analytics, care management, healthcare informatics, or healthcare consulting
Deep understanding of provider operations, care management, and value-based reimbursement models
Experience working with health systems, physician groups, ACOs, CINs, health plans, or other value-based healthcare organizations
Strong knowledge of quality initiatives, including HEDIS, STAR, MSSP, MIPS, ACO REACH, or similar programs
Experience working with enterprise healthcare technology, EHRs, care management platforms, analytics solutions, or related healthcare applications
Ability to communicate complex healthcare concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree required. An advanced healthcare, clinical, or graduate degree is preferred
Experience within healthcare software, digital health, product strategy, implementation, or a clinical background is highly desirable
Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits
Location: Greater Boston area. Hybrid work arrangement preferred
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites and leadership meetings as needed
Impact: You'll play a key role in influencing product strategy, customer success, and executive decision-making while helping build technology that enables healthcare organizations to improve outcomes, succeed in value-based care, and deliver better patient experiences
