Global Financial Services Organization Turns to District Partners to Solve a Complex, Ongoing NetSuite Talent Challenge
A global financial services and credentialing organization with thousands of employees was experiencing rapid growth and expansion of its product offerings, creating increased complexity across its NetSuite environment. Revenue recognition ownership, platform scalability, and operational reporting had all become critical pressure points — and the business could not afford to slow down while those gaps were addressed. Attrition compounded the challenge: as key people left, traditional recruiting channels could not reliably source the depth of NetSuite expertise these roles demanded. The team needed a partner who understood the domain well enough to screen for it — not just search for it.
District Partners' approach was built on three principles: deep domain expertise in the specific functions being sourced, a rigorous co-developed screen for each role, and an always-active pipeline of pre-vetted NetSuite professionals. We built a distinct sourcing and screening profile for each role — architect, functional lead, revenue recognition strategist, and business analyst — and co-developed a custom technical screen with the client's NetSuite Platform Owner and engineering leadership, covering SDF manifest conflicts, SuiteQL judgment, ASC 606 logic, and unit testing. Candidates who could not demonstrate ASC 606 logic within NetSuite were not advanced, regardless of other qualifications. Across every search, candidates were presented within 48 hours, with tight slates of one to three interview-ready finalists per position.
District Partners delivered six senior NetSuite consultants across architecture, business analysis, and product management — each domain-matched to the workstream they joined, with an average of under five days from search open to offer accepted. The consultants stabilized operations, restored momentum on delayed initiatives, and reduced the operational risk that had been building as critical gaps went unfilled. Each consultant's involvement surfaced broader needs, and the client returned each time a new one emerged — a relationship that deepened through delivery, not selling.
Working with District Partners has been an absolute pleasure. When I need candidates, they deliver fast, and the quality is consistently there. Every candidate they have brought forward has been well-matched to the role requirements, saving me time and giving me confidence in the process. What sets them apart is their genuine openness to ideas and feedback — whether on a candidate or approach — which makes them a true partner, not just a vendor.
